What is Katsudon?

Katsudon Icon

"Katsu" means cutlet, and "don" means rice bowl. Born in the early 20th century, Katsudon combines crispy tonkatsu with savory soy sauce over fluffy rice, creating a dream bowl that has become a comfort food loved nationwide, and now worldwide.
